Ice Castles Styled Shoot
I’ve been itching to get out, play in the snow and be creative for a while now. Living in Maine, we easily become bored and filled with cabin fever. After months of the cold Maine winter I decided to embrace it and shoot out in the snow!
When I found out there were ice palaces in Bethel, Maine (an hour away from me), I HAD to shoot there!! With a few hours on Pinterest, finding inspiration and creating mood boards for this shoot. And a trip or two to Hobby Lobby to create a bouquet on a budget! A friend willing to freeze in the snow for a photo shoot (and willing to try crazy eyeliner), this snowy fairytale was born.
Sage won my photo shoot giveaway a few months back when I hit 2000 followers and I just had to have her in front of my camera again! She braved the cold with her winter gear and ran around the ice castles through the snow!
Northeast Ice Palaces were incredible hosts and their towering ice castles were the perfect backdrops for this vision. Their tunnels and pathways were a wonderland. Thank you so much for allowing us to shoot there!
